Penza, 25 November 2011. PenzaNews. Honorable citizens of Penza will receive lifelong monthly monetary payment of 10 thousand rubles. The deputies of the Penza municipal duma made such decision during the regular session on Friday, on November, 25th.

According to mayor Ivan Belozertsev, honorable citizens are mostly aged older persons. They did much for the city and monetary payment is only a small part of gratitude which they are worthy.

Necessary sum will be put in the city budget of the next year. It is planned that honorable citizens will start to receive payments since January, 2012.

Now 19 honorable citizens live in Penza. 65 persons were awarded this title total.
