Orphans from Penza will get free treatment in Moscow

Penza, 28 November 2011. PenzaNews. Five orphaned children who have problems with the musculoskeletal system, living in Nizhny Lomov of the Penza Region, will get free treatment on the basis of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital.

As the Director of the Penza Regional Public Organization “Blagovest” Maria Lvova-Belova said to the news agency PenzaNews, the decision was taken during the visit of orthopaedist of RCCH Sergei Moiseev to Penza, which took place on Saturday, November 26.

She said: “The doctor examined 35 children, five of which will be hospitalized in Moscow for treatment. According to the preliminary estimates, there are chances to put them on their feet”.

She added that among the disabled, reffered to treatment, there is a boy, traveling in a chair for 16 years. According to the doctor, he also has prospects for full recovery.

Maria Lvova-Belova noted that the treatment of children in Moscow clinic will be payed by the fund, which exists at the hospital.

The head of the public organization expressed: “Healing process will take a long term — from 1 year. After that children are recovered in a rehabilitation center which opened at the clinic. There are cases when post-treatment children were adopted by the family”.
