Penza, 30 November 2011. PenzaNews. The project “Environmental island of a big city” of educational school №58 of Penza became the winner of the father’s social projects “Work with the children, work for the children” during the final defense of works, which was held at the Center of development of children and youth creativity №2 on Tuesday, November, 29.

As the head of Information and Methodology Department of educational institution Elena Kudryashova said, the second place was given to the project “Improvement of school grounds” prepared by the fathers council of school located in the village Staraja Andreevka of Neverkinsky area; the project “House handyman” of fathers council of school of Evlashevo village of Kuznetsky district won the third prize.

According to the interlocutor of the news agency PenzaNews, only 32 projects were presented from Penza and 15 districts, 10 of them reached the final.

Elena Kudryashova said: “The projects were devoted to problems of environment, socio-economic development of the villages, healthy lifestyle, improvement of information culture of children and adolescents”.

All winners were awarded by digital video cameras.

The competition of father’s social projects “Work with the children, work for the children” has being held in the Penza region since 2007. Its organizers are the Ministry of Education of the Penza region and the Center of development of children and youth creativity №2.

The key objectives of the contest are to pay attention to family values, its importance in developing the younger generation, as well as family communication and the establishment of citizenship of the child.
