Keys to the new cars were handed to the best workers of the Penza region

Penza, 30 November 2011. PenzaNews. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition “The best in the profession” was held in Penza Drama Theater named after A. Lunacharsky on Wednesday, November, 30. The governer of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev took the lead in organizing the competition. As the news agency PenzaNews informed earlier, the governor decided that scooter would be the grand prize in each of 12 nominations in the category with work experience of 5 years and car would be the grand prize in the category with work experience of 5 years and more.

The governer said: “I did not expect that so many workers would take up the call, take park in competitions and prove that they like their profession and was proud of it. And today we are at the final of a big holiday of working man”.
The Governor noted that the development of the regional economics is impossible without a skilled worker, “the hands of the working man with a clever head”.
The head of the region said: “We have to study more to make our companies competitive. It is important to have good mentor and colleagues who will be happy for the successes of others”.
He thanked the best representatives of working professions for taking part in the competition and expressed the hope that the Penza region will remain the leader of the Volga Federal District in grouth rates of industrial production in future.
The competition was held in 12 professions of three areas: engineering, agriculture and construction. The total number of participants was more than 1 thousand people, 289 people took part in the regional stage of the competition.
All the contestants who didn’t get the prize-winning places were awarded by valuable gifts.
12 of the best workers received keys to the car “Lada Kalina” from the hands of the governor. Keys to scooters were given to 11 professionals.
Participants received TV with the theatre and laptops for the second place. Refrigerators and TV were given to those who won the third place.
Besides, the governer thanked the heads of enterprises whose workers took part in competition.
Vasily Bochkarev said: “I think that we’ll buy more expensive cars for winners of the next year and put logo of the competition on it. Worker should be proud of his professionalism and people around him should now that”.
