The professor from Penza took part in the international conference in Japan

Penza, 8 December 2011. PenzaNews. The head the department of national history and technique of teaching of history of Penza Pedagogical University named after V.G. Belinsky, the doctor of historical sciences, professor Victor Kondrashin took part in the international conference “History of the Russian peasantry of the 20th century” which took place at the Tokyo university.

According to administration of the university, the action was dated for 65-year-old anniversary of one of leading Japanese researchers of Russia, the professor of Tokyo University Hirosi Okudy. Victor Kondrashin and Hirosi Okudy realized the scientific project “Modern Russian and Japanese researchers of rural Russia of the 20-th century” in 2001-2005.
The source of the university said: “The professor presented the report at the conference and transferred the last publications to the library of the Tokyo University”.
Besides, Victor Kondrashin made an agreement about the third volume of the federal project “Hunger in the USSR in 1929-1934” with Japanese colleague Terajamoj Kiosuke.
