Penza, 13 December 2011. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev met students the of the department “Public relations” of the Penza state university on Tuesday, December, 13th. During the conversation young men sounded the offers on preparation for celebrating of the 350th anniversary of Penza in 2013 and improvement of the system of higher education and ask the head of the region to support their different projects.

The student of PGU Julia Kozinsky said: “We create models of various T-shirts, souvenirs by the anniversary of Penza and distributed it among our friends. We are ready to offer our ideas to the representatives of city administration, maybe, our ideas could be useful. Our imagination was great and we even create songs and clips”.

Vasily Bochkarev informed that there is money in the budget of the city within the limits of realization of the program of preparation for celebrating of the 350th anniversary of Penza.

The governor said: “It is a good project. And you are right saying that “the imagination was great”. I suggest creating the chamber of handicraftsmen where people could present such projects” in Penza”. He also offered high school administrations to invite group of young active workers to one of the organizing committee sessions on preparation for celebrating of the anniversary of the city.

Student Nikita Alekseev shared his ideas concerning reconstruction of musical fountain in the center of Penza, Moskovskaya street and the quay of the river of Sura.

Nikita Alekseev said: “It’s impossible to walk there. People stumble because of the old plates and can even slip and fall in the river. Why not to put new good plates, fence and border stone? Why not to put fountains, shops, to plant higher trees and normal lawn instead of the bald one? Then the quay of the river will become more beautiful”.

Vasily Bochkarev informed the student that reconstruction of Moskovskaya street will be started in Penza in 2012.

Vasily Bochkarev said: “The quay of the river bothers me too. We found the investor ready to be engaged in its reconstruction but then he refused because of the financial crisis. Certainly, we should make something here at the expense of municipality means to the 350th anniversary of the city, but we intend search for the investor. The problem is the resettlement of shabby and emergency habitation near the quay of the river”.

The governor said: “In GPZ-24 district 100-condominium house constructed specially for tenants of shabby and emergency habitation is still empty”.

The student working in the private video studio asked to support in carrying out the seminars and forums in Penza as it takes the students much money to visit seminars in different cities.

The head of region answered: “Let's issue your request in the form of the offer and we will put it in the plan of our work. You, probably, noticed that last years many interesting people from Moscow, St.-Petersburg and other cities come to Penza. Such seminars will be interesting not only for you, but also for workers of broadcasting companies in the Penza region. It’s a very good suggestion”.

In end of the meeting Vasily Bochkarev thanked the students for the successful meeting and offere to hold them regularly.
