Penza, 15 December 2011. PenzaNews. 20.6 % of working citizens of the Penza region were recognized almost healthy following the results of the additional prophylactic medical examination which came to the end on December, 14th. 28 % of examined citizens have the risk of diseases.

The press-service of the Ministry of health and social development of the Penza region said: “50.7 % of population needs to be examined additionally. 162 persons or 0.54 % need to be treated at the hospital. Six people were recommended to have hi-tech medical aid”.

Annually socially-significant diseases are registered in the course of additional prophylactic medical examination.

The press-service said: “From April till October, 2011 one person with tuberculosis, two persons with oncological diseases, 57 people suffering from diabetes, 193 persons with ischemic heart troubles, 672 sick of adiposity, 858 persons with high level of arterial pressure were revealed among the examined citizens”.
