Penza, 23 December 2011. PenzaNews. Activists of “Movement EKA” held a master class of making bird tables at school №35 and explained how to feed up birds. After that they installed bird feeding tables for wintering birds.

Marina Kokorina the leader of “Movement EKA” said: “Many birds which stay here in winter perish during frosts and snowfalls because of lack of food. As a part of the program “Birds of the city” we teach children to take care of birds to decrease the death-rate of feathery in winter”.

She admitted that on day of winter solstice, December, 22nd, the same actions were held in 20 regions of Russia.

She added: “As a part of the program “Birds of the city” which was organized in winter 2011, EKA and schoolboys made and installed about 10 bird tables in the region in total”.
