Teachers of the Penza region will receive 33 million rubles grants in 2012

Penza, 26 December 2011. PenzaNews. More than 33 million rubles will be allocated from the budget of the Penza region for support of teachers of schools and vocational schools.

According to the Ministry of Education, 12 million rubles was put for competition of the best teachers which will be held as a part of the national project “Education” and also regional competitions “Pedagogical Olympus”, “Best head — the Leader of Education”, “High pedagogical skills”, “Pedagogical initiative” and “Best teacher- entrepreneur”.

The department said: “About 3 million rubles it will be allocated from the regional budget for the competitions which are held as a part of modernization of the system of vocational training — “Best teacher of Special Subjects”, “Best master of Industrial training”, “Best Tutor”, competition of young masters and teachers, and also professional skill competitions”.

Besides, according to the Ministry of Education of the Penza region, 18.8 million roubles will be spent to support of young teachers.

Thus in 2011 more than 20 million roubles were allocated from the regional budget for support of the teachers.

The source of the regional Ministry of Education said: “So 100 participants of competition “Pedagogical Olympus”, 10 best heads of educational institutions of the region, 308 young teachers and also 65 winners of competitions “High Pedagogical Skill” and “Pedagogical initiative received monetary support”.

The press-service of the department said: “1.8 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget. 9 teachers of the region received 200 thousand rubles as the grant of the president of the Russian Federation”.
