Six residents of the Penza region were awarded with “The Order of Merit for the Fatherland”

Penza, 27 December 2011. PenzaNews. The Orders of Merit for the Fatherland of the 2nd degree were given to the participants of liquidation of the consequences of the accident at Chernobyl NPP. The ceremony took place in Brothers Mozzhuhiny Museum in village Kondol of the Penza region.

According to the press-service of administration of the Penza region, Ivan Kortyshkov, Vladimir Mokshanov, Anatoly Mizuryaev and Alexander Surkov got the medals.

The press-service said: “Yury Osipov and Alexander Romanovsky were awarded posthumously”.
