Penza, 30 December 2011. PenzaNews. Competition in the best New Year decorations among the districts of the city comes to the end in Penza. According to the press-service of city administration, the commission has already passed three districts and has estimated art level, originality and expressiveness of New Year decorations.

The press-service said: “In the nearest future the commission will visit Pervomaysky district. Then the winners will be chosen and awarded”.

As it was reported earlier, Ekaterina Poteshkina from street Pushanina won the competition in the best New Year decoration of the apartment houses last year. She got 30 thousand rubles prize.

In 2009 the competition was spent among the districts of Penza. Octyabsky district became the leader. The second place was taken b Pervomaysky district, Leninsky district was the third, Zheleznodorozhny district was the fourth.
