Zarechny, 12 January 2012. PenzaNews. Second-year students of Zarechny Institute of Technology, a branch of Penza State Academy of Technology, Konstantin Kravtsov and Daniil Gulyayev have been awarded Medals for Courage in Firefighting.

As a representative of the higher educational institution explained in an interview to news agency PenzaNews, the young people saved a person’s life in September 2011.

The representative said: “When they heard a scream for help the young men rushed to the upper floor of the house where the fire broke out, kicked in the door to the apartment open and rescued the man from fire.”

In his words, the Medals for Courage in Firefighting were bestowed on the students at the office of the administation of the town of Zarechny.
