Penza, 13 January 2012. PenzaNews. Reconstruction of the road from the airport to Baumansky overpass and building of the second turn of the bridge over railway station is planned to be finished by the middle of 2012. The assistant of head of city administration of Penza Evgenie Ryzhov declared it during the exit meeting on Friday, January, 13.

“Now asphalting of the road cloth and installation of support of illumination with power effective fixtures are practically completed in street Ternovskogo. It is necessary to complete sidewalks, bicycle paths and to establish noise-protective screens which will protect local residents from dust, dirt and noise”, specified Evgenie Ryzhov.

As he said, welded joints (new technology) is used in construction of the bridge over the river Penza and Baumansky overpass to make it look nicer.

According to the press-service of city administration, 2.6 km overpass will have four lanes. The width of roadway will be 18 meters, pedestrian path will be 3 meters wide.

The press-service said: “After the reconstruction of the bridge, there will appear two road interchanges to pass to the streets Tokarnaya and Metallistov, passing traffic lights”.
