Governor urges control children transportation to schools in Penza region

Penza, 16 January 2012. PenzaNews. Governor Vasily Bochkarev asked Minister of Education of the Penza region Svetlana Kopeshkina to give the full information on a situation connected with transportation of children to schools of the region.

“There are messages that in some settlements of the region children can’t get to schools because of snowfalls and uncleaned roads,” said Vasily Bochkarev to Svetlana Kopeshkina during the operative meeting in the region government on Monday, January, 16.

The Minister of Education wasn’t ready to inform the head of region on a situation as she hadn’t get necessary figures from the areas yet.

“Give me the report on a situation during the day”, the governor demanded.

Vasily Bochkarev gave the commission to the head of department of Traffic Police of the Russian Federation for the Penza region Sergey Buylov to give the objective information on a condition of highways on the territory of the Penza region promptly.

“It is necessary to punish those officials who are responsible for clearing the roads, having concluded the agreements on it but did nothing. They lie idling at home but want to get salary regularly”, the governor summarized.
