Penza, 16 January 2012. PenzaNews. The excursion and lecture about marriage and family law will be organized at Leninsky Registry Office of Penza for 9-11 grade students of comprehensive school №62 on Wednesday, January, 18.

According to deputy head of Registry Office Inessa Hristoforova, such activities are regularly organized as a part of the program of information openness of the Registry Office’s work.

“During the activity students will learn about the activity of Registry Offices and consider legal consequences of marriage. They will draw the attention of schoolchildren to the importance of family values and also tell them about advantages of the registered marriage over cohabitation”, she explained.

The interlocutor of the agency noted that students participate eagerly in such excursions.

“It is interesting for senior student to visit Registry Office when their own marriage is in far prospect. They listen attentively and ask questions actively”, underlined Inessa Hristoforova.

Answering the question about statistics whether such excursions increase the quantity of officially registered marriages among youth or not, the deputy chief of the department said that there wasn’t such data.
