Penza, 26 January 2012. PenzaNews. About 300 medical products from the list of vital medicines consisting of 10 240 thousand products are absent in retail chemist’s chain of the Penza region. There are their substitutes which cost extra charges. Russian average level of absence of such medicines is 365 products,” said the vice-governor of the Penza region during a briefing in the regional government on Thursday, January 26.

He informed also that since December 2011 there are much more citizens’ references about cost increase in chemist’s in the Penza region, in particular, in a group of cheap medicines cost less than 50 rubles.

“Prices increase is 2.35 % in this segment in the Penza region,” Vyacheslav Satin said.

Thus he underlined that governor Vasily Bochkarev charge constant and rigid monitoring of the situation.

“In January 11, 2012 a working group concerning regulation of tariffs for the goods and services of the organizations of the municipal complex power supplying, electrical supply network and heating system organizations, the prices for combustive-lubricating materials and medical products,” the vice-governor informed.

“The main goals of work group are public monitoring of prices for the vital medical products, presence in drugstores of medicines of aforementioned group, including cheap zone and also control over placing in all trading floors of the list of the given preparations and the information on their cost,” Vyacheslav Satin explained.

He added that at the meeting which took place on January 26 in the regional government made an agreement with the representatives of pharmaceutical business working in the territory of the region that the variety of market shouldn't be reflected in variety of prices in drugstores.

“People should also take part in monitoring. Hot line of Roszdravnadzor and Ministry of health and social development is working now. Besides, residents of the Penza region can report all revealed infringements through e-mail,” the vice-governor said.
