Penza, 31 January 2012. PenzaNews. 90% of pensioners or 389 thousand people living on the territory of the Penza region will get a monetary rise in February.

According to Pension Fund of Russia for the Penza region, the first indexation in 2012 will be on February 1. Size of an insurance part of old age labour pension and disability labour pension and survivor’s labour pension will be increased by 7%.

“Now more than 431 thousand addressees of pensions live in the Penza region, 389 thousand persons or 90% of them can count on a rise,” the source of the department said.

The press-service of PFR added that indexation those who get two pensions simultaneously, such as war veterans, disabled war veteran and widows of military men died during military service.

“Following the results of February indexation the average size of labour pension will increase by 540.87 rubles and will make 8 363 rubles,” the press-service of the department said.

According to PFR, citizens whose pension is below the living wage (5 027 rubles) established for 2012, receiving federal social surcharge, the size of payments also can remain below the living wage.

“In this case the total sum of material maintenance will not change and will make 5 027 rubles, and the size of federal social surcharge will decrease,” the department explained.

PFR specified one more 2.4% rise of labour pensions is planned in April 1, 2012.
