Penza, 1 February 2012. PenzaNews. Employees of Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region revealed about 500 infringements of current legislation in public health services sphere in 2011.

“During inspection minimum assortment of medical products for rendering medical aid to citizens was absent in pharmaceutical institutions of the region, prescriptions were delayed for more than 10 days. Citizens suffering from cancer diseases were not provided with medicine. Infringements of an order of appointment and write out prescriptions were also revealed,” Tatyana Ostrovskaya, the senior assistant to the public prosecutor of the Penza region informed.

According to her, infringements in sphere of legislation on prevention and spread of tuberculosis were found out.

“Belinsky public prosecutor revealed infringement of requirements of an order of rendering of medical aid to consumptive in Russia in phthisiologist office of Central Areal Hospital there was no iatrotechnics and toolkit minimum quantity that did not allow to render qualitatively medical aid to citizens,” Tatyana Ostrovskaya informed.

“All revealed infringements exhaustive measures of public prosecutor’s reaction are taken. As a result of public prosecutor’s intervention the admitted infringements are eliminated, guilty persons faced responsibility,” she summarized.
