Penza, 3 February 2012. PenzaNews. 78 citizens’ references on cases of corruption were considered by bodies of Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region in 2011.

“71 references concerned the infringements of the legislation on the state both municipal service and counteraction of corruption, 7 were about the norms of criminal-remedial legislation,” informed Tatyana Ostrovskaya, the senior assistant to the public prosecutor of the Penza region.

She admitted that 19 references of total quantity of considered arguments were proved.

“In section “Fight against Corruption” of Internet site of Office of Public Prosecutor of the Penza region from citizens 25 references in 2011 from which 9 were considered by Office of Public Prosecutor. Arguments 6 of them are recognized proved and were satisfied,” said the interlocutor of the agency.

Tatyana Ostrovskaya specified that citizens appealed against, first of all, activity of officials of public authorities of the area, law-enforcement bodies and local governments.
