Head of administration of city Roman Chernov informed about it on Friday, February 24. “We will increase prices differentially. Probably price will remain unchanged for plastic transport card users and for those who pay in cash cost of the tickets will increase considerably,” explained Roman Chernov.

Besides, he informed about expected decrease in number of share taxis. “Gazell” will be replaced by high-capacity buses.

“111 new vehicles have already been bought,” the head of administration of Penza underlined, having added that the quantity of cars on each existing route will be reduced, however there will be new directions.

“Besides, there is one more innovation. Now MUP “PPP” is the main public transportation company and “Merkury” and “Dilizhans” are its agents. This year all companies will protect the tariffs independently in competition and I suppose that two or three different tariffs for passenger transportations will be in Penza,” said Roman Chernov.
