Penza veteran awarded commemorative token “70 years of Fight for Moscow”

Penza, 24 February 2012. PenzaNews. Veteran of Great Patriotic War Fedor Bazhan living in village Linevka of Belinsky oarea of the Penza region was awarded commemorative token “70 years of Fight for Moscow”.

The award and the letter from mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanina were presented to the veteran flame-thrower operator on his 90th anniversary.

According to the regional newspaper “Slskaya Nov”, Feodor Bazhanov passed all war, spent Victory Day of the Victory in Berlin and then was at war for freedom of Europe for two years more.

Later the veteran transferred a part of his awards to school museum of village Kozlovka.
