Emergency response center on liquidation of snow drifts created in Penza region

Penza, 26 February 2012. PenzaNews. Due to difficult weather conditions governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev ordered to create an emergency response center region on liquidation of snow drifts. According to the press-service of the regional government, the headquarters are organized for improvement of sanitary condition of city territories, increase of responsibility of heads of the enterprises for liquidation of consequences of snow drifts after snowfalls, snow-storms and ice.

“Vice-chairman of the government, chief of department of town-planning of the Penza region Alexander Grishaev, chief of central administrative board The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters for the Penza region Sergey Kozlov, Minister of Finance of the region of Eugenia Krasheninnikova, deputy head of department of housing and communal services of the Penza region Yury Ilyin, chief of GBU “Department of building and public roads of the Penza region” Victor Shoshkin and also representative of Office of traffic police of Interior Ministry of Russia for the Penza region were included in the structure of this emergency center,” specified the press-service.

Members of headquarters have duties on coordination of activity of administrations of areas and cities, municipal, motor transportation and other enterprises regarding consequences of snow drifts liquidation in settlements and on the roads.

“The head of the region ordered to clean all Penza roads, first of all, socially important ones. While solving this problem responsible heads of each municipal union should act with progress reports in video conferencing mode,” said the press-service of the government.
