Penza, 11 March 2012. PenzaNews. Members of public organization “Dvornyagin” sent a letter to head of administration of Zarechny of the Penza region Vyacheslav Gladkov, where they stated the facts of killing neglected animals.

“The main task of this project should be catching neglected animals to prevent infectious diseases in the city,” is said in the letter.

According to authors of the letter, using “barbarous” methods with forbidden medicine causing painful death of animals from asthma 34 homeless animals were destroyed not being delivered in quarantine room, because it’s absent.”

As newspaper Zarechie reports, members of public organization asked mayor “to point to department of natural resources to violation of Penza specialists who break legislation regulating catching, transportation, keeping, euthanasia and further use of neglected animals” and also to terminate the relevant contract.
