Penza, 14 March 2012. PenzaNews. There are more than 100 applications for inter-regional competition of personal blogs and Internet communities “LiveJournal Life Communication” which is organized by Joint stock Company “Rostelecom” from March 1 till April 2, 2012.

“The competition, spent fourth time, is directed on popularization of social media, increase of creative activity and culture of modern forms of dialogue. Personal blogs, twitter-accounts and Internet Societies created by residents of Volga Federal District till March 1, 2012 can take part in it,” said the press-service.

Bloggers, living in Samara, Nizhniy Novgorod and Udmurtia sent most of all applications. Considerable activity was shown by representatives of Internet community from Bashkortostan and Tatarstan which participate for the first time in such competition.

“Such nominations as “Best Thematic Blog”, “Freeze Frame” and “Brevity Soul of Wit” are the most popular ones,” specified in the press-service.

The advisory council which includes governors of the Kirov region Nikita Belyh and the Nizhniy Novgorod region Valery Shantsev, the vice-president, the director of macroregional branch “Volga” of Rostelecom Dmitry Proskura and top regional blogger started preliminary consideration of submitted applications.

“Everybody can take part in competition till March 19. Results will be brought on April 2,” specified in the press-service.
