Penza, 2 April 2012. PenzaNews. Inhabitants of Zarechny of the Penza region gave names to members of the family of the elks, living in the city territory.

“Mother-elk is called Sima and the father’s elk name is Dobrynya. Their cubs received names Losyash and the Lassie,” reported the head of the department on interaction with mass media of Communications Department of Zarechny Tatyana Saltsova.

She noted that during the action “Elks — Our Neighbors” residents were informed how to behave if they meet wild animals.

“Then participants of the action made snow figures of animals and took part in the quiz. Winners received badges “Zarechny — Ecocity,” sweet prizes and stuffed toys,” said the spokeswoman.
