12 million rubles planned for NPO subsidy in Penza region in 2012

Penza, 3 April 2012. PenzaNews. Nearly 12 million rubles planned to be allocated for subsidies for non-profit organizations of the Penza region in 2012.

“More than 2.7 million rubles are put according to long-term regional programs “Development of Civil Society (2009-2014)” and “About 350 anniversary of Penza for 2010-2013.” Joint financing from the federal budget of more than 9 million rubles is expected,” reported the press service of the regional government.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Penza region of Sergey Zlatogorsky considers it as serious support for noncommercial sector of the region.

“We aspire to make all procedures of selection projects more transparent. Now we work out the regulations of the Penza region regulating granting subsidies for NPO, those recommendations which were sent to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia. These measures will allow to avoid further misunderstanding between the power and the public,” Sergey Zlatogorsky commented.

Since the beginning of 2012 the commission on selection of projects of social initiatives of NPO at the government of the region considered 20 demands. From them 9 are recommended for financing. Total amount of the means allocated from the budget of the Penza region for implementation of approved projects, made more than 1.5 million rubles.

“The list of necessary documents, and also forms of the demand, the passport and the estimate of provided projects are placed on an official portal of the government of the region in the section “Non-profit organizations,” specified in the press service.
