“According to tariff regulation schedule discount index is 0.5 for all types of cars: reserved seat, compartment and sleeper,” reported Alevtina Goldinova, the press secretary of the Penza region Kuybishev Russian Railways.

She noted that these dates’ tickets are available.

“Flexible tariff regulation of all Russian Railways network is differentiated calendar with indexes of tariffs changes. Knowing periods of tariffs changed, passengers can plan a trip and buy cheaper tickets,” said the spokeswoman.
