Penza, 10 April 2012. PenzaNews. Well-known Moscow TV host and director Alexander Gordon considered brilliant an idea of the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev to revive “disappeared” villages by creating farms on in them. “If we look at detailed atlas of the Russian Empire, we can see that there were 20 times more villages in 19th than now. It is our problem. We should make youth com back to rural areas,” Alexander Gordon emphasized.

According to the TV host, Vasily Bochkarev’s idea concerning building farms on the territory of former villages which had disappeared from the map is the only way to make youth remain in rural areas.
“I am ready to support anyway all Penza governor’s ideas and have already invited him to my television program “Citizen Gordon” where he will represent himself as the expert concerning agriculture development in Russia and to revival of "died-out" villages,” Alexander Gordon summarized.
