Penza, 12 April 2012. PenzaNews. Major repairs of railway station Penza-I will have been completed by 350th anniversary of the city. The chief of department of railway stations, branch of “Russian Railways” Sergey Abramov informed during “Passenger forum – 2012” which took place in Moscow on Wednesday, April 11.

“The strategy of “Russian Railway” regarding stations reconstruction is based on investment capital attraction with assistance of representatives of the power,” explained in the press-service of administration of Penza.

As earlier it was informed, during station reconstruction it is planned to replace engineering communications, to repair underpass and hotel.

“Passenger forum - 2012” is held the second time.

It includes discussion the questions concerning increasing economic efficiency of passenger transportations, developments of the system of public transport, improvement of quality suburban, regional and international transportation and also providing rights and interests of Russian drivers.
