Penza, 16 April 2012. PenzaNews. Ombudsman of the Russian Federation for children Pavel Astakhov offered the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev to open social hotels.

“Today during my visit to orphanage one graduate came to me and complained of absence of housing,” said Pavel Astakhov during the meeting with the head of the region on Monday, April 16.

Vasily Bochkarev supported the proposal of ombudsman for children and declared that such possibility is in hostels of various vocational schools.

“There are enough hostels at technical training colleges and I think it’s possible to reserve there one floor, for example, for orphans,” answered the governor.

He said that this year 150 apartments for orphans will be built in the Penza region that will allow to liquidate the queue completely.

Pavel Astakhov offered the governor to strengthen work with orphan houses.

“There is a disturbing tendency, family institution is weaken and there are more and more orphans,” Pavel Astakhov noted.
