4G networks to be deployed in Penza region in 2013

Penza, 28 April 2012. PenzaNews. In 2013 residents of the Penza region will be able to use the mobile services of the fourth generation (4G), the main advantage of which is higher Internet access speed.

“At present the region is preparing for the integration of new equipment into existing networks. The peculiarity of this equipment will be the following: coming out from the local 4G zone, a user will be served in networks of the third and second generations without any connection failures,” Director of Penza branch of MegaFon Alexey Bryukhachev said to news agency “PenzaNews.”

He also stated that MegaFon was the first operator of Big Three to provide its clients with the possibility of access to 4G mobile services — the first 4G network was deployed in Novosibirsk on April 23 and in the nearest future, in 2012, the company plans the deployment of new networks in Moscow, Sochi, Krasnodar and other cities of Russia.
