Penza, 4 May 2012. PenzaNews. Activists of political party United Russia and public organization Molodaya Gvardiya took part in the motor rally devoted to Victory Day of Great Patriotic War which took place in Penza on Friday, May 4.

It started at the monument of military and labor valor of Penza residents. 15 cars participated in the rally. Songs of the military years could be heard from the cars which were driving the city main streets, stopping at large shopping centers to hand out St. George ribbons to passers-by.

Activists came to the monument of military and labor valor of the residents of Penza after the end of the rally and assigned flowers to the Eternal light.

According to the organizer of the rally Alexander Kartashov, motor rally was organized to honor the memory of people who died in Great Patriotic War and to pay homage to the veterans.

“Often the youth does not respect seniors, forgetting that they live and breathe only thanks to grandmothers and grandfathers,” admitted the spokesperson.
