268 apartments for veterans under construction in Penza region

Penza, 25 May 2012. PenzaNews. 268 apartments in individual and apartment houses for veterans of the Great Patriotic War are under construction in the Penza region.
According to the press service of the regional government, building of the houses for veterans is the most active in Bekovsky, Bessonovsky, Vadinsky, Mokshansky, Narovchatsky and Pachelmsky areas this year. Moreover, apartment houses for all social categories of citizens are being built in Penza, Kuznetsk and Zarechny.
As of May 24, 7 099 veterans of the Great Patriotic War, widows of the lost participants and disabled veterans are in need of improved housing conditions. 5 581.4 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget to the budget of the Penza region in 2010–2012.
3 veterans were provided apartments under contract of social rent and 5 821 veterans got granted certificates for monetary payment for construction or housing acquisition.
2 083.7 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget in 2011, 1 900.9 million rubles had been expended by January 1, 2012.
1 244.58 million rubles are required to provide all needy veterans with habitation.
