Penza delegation participates in All-Russian Journalists’ Conference

Moscow, 28 May 2012. PenzaNews. Editor-in-chief of news agency PenzaNews Pavel Polosin, editor-in-chief of News Center “Penzenskaya Pravda” Pavel Shishkin and head of the information and analytical office of the regional information policy and media department Anastasia Bayazitova are participating in the 6th All-Russian Journalists’ Conference entitled “Information partnership: Government — Society — Media” taking place in Moscow on May 28–30.

During the first day of the Conference a plenary session will be held, which is expected to include such speakers as President of the Foundation for Information Policy Development (FIPD) Svetlana Kolesnik, deputy head of the department for periodicals, book publishing and polygraphy of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications Gennady Kudiy, head of FIPD’s regional programs Aleksandr Kynev, head of the socio-political research office of the Yuri Levada Analytical Center Boris Dubin, regional program director of the Independent Social Policy Institute Natalya Zubarevich and others.

The issues on the agenda of the journalists’ forum include the current state and tendencies of the Russia media market, prospects for the development of the society and political system in Russian after the 2011–2012 election cycle, dynamics of media consumption of the Russian population, social functions of contemporary media and other pertinent questions.

During the next two days of the Conference journalists are scheduled to meet with Chairperson of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and senior officials of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office.

At the close of the forum a ceremony to announce the results of the journalism competition entitled “Information partnership: Government — Society — Media” will be held.
