Penza, 30 May 2012. PenzaNews. The deputy of Legislative assembly of the Penza region Vasily Baulin suggested obligatory retraining of taxi drivers every 5 years.

“Passengers transportation is very responsible, as well as the work of doctors which pass retraining every 5 years. Drivers should do the same. The absence of such retraining negatively affects the situation on roads,” said Vasily Baulin during the session of regional parliament on Wednesday, May 30.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Penza region, the chief of the regional department of industry, transport and power Yury Bykov supported deputy’s suggestion and declared that their department will weigh the proposal.

“If it doesn’t contradict the federal legislation, we will try to introduce it in the Penza region,” said Yury Bykov.
