Penza, 1 June 2012. PenzaNews. Children’s Day was celebrated in Penza with contests, a concert and a theatrical performance held in Fountain Square.

The celebrations included the Colors of Summer, an interactive music game, in the morning and a Give Kids A Fairy Tale holiday in the afternoon.

The children who attended the celebrations participated in various contests and made chalk drawings devoted to the holiday on the pavement, for which they received coupons that could be exchanged for prizes in the Wonder Emporium.

In addition, various playgrounds and entertainment activities such as “Visiting Vasilisa the Wise”, “Marya the Wonderful Weaver”, “Homes for Gnomes”, “The Magic Relay” and “The Theater of Memes” operated in the square.
