Zarechny, 5 June 2012. PenzaNews. The sale of alcohol should be permitted only in retail outlets over 300 square meters in area. This is the opinion expressed by head of administration of Zarechny of the Penza region Vyacheslav Gladkov during a weekly meeting with directors of local organizations on Monday, June 4.

Zarechny mayor directed that a draft decision of the assembly of representatives on the legislative initiative for the Legislation Assembly of the Penza region on the issue of restricting alcohol sales be prepared.

“The need for urgent resolution of this problem has been confirmed by the results of the morning tour whose participants discussed the current unfavorable situation with alcohol sales at Meat Shop store and the unsatisfactory state of the area adjoining the retail outlet. In this connection, the head of the administration directed that his acting deputy Julia Zubova prepare a draft decision as soon as possible after conducting all necessary consultations in the next two days,” head of the media department of the public relations office of Zarechny Tatyna Saltsova told news agency “PenzaNews.”
