Zarechny, 7 June 2012. PenzaNews. 96 homeless pets were taken out of the town of Zarechny in the Penza region during the first quarter of 2012. Head of the administration of the town Vyacheslav Gladkov made this announcement during a meeting with representatives of communal services and natural resources agencies.

Vyacheslav Gladkov stressed that work in this area should be actively continued as the solution of the problem of homeless pets is an important task for the town.

“The need for this is confirmed by numerous complaints of residents against the great number of stray dogs in the streets,” the head of the administration added.
