Penza, 15 June 2012. PenzaNews. The prosecutor of Issinskiy district of the Penza region helped a disabled child to receive a walker.

“The prosecutor’s office received a complaint from a mother of a disabled child with a request to apply for her daughter to the court with a claim to Penza regional office of Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation. The claimant stated that her daughter had been disabled since 2009 and in accordance with the individual program of rehabilitation should be provided with technical means of rehabilitation, a walker. However, to date they have not secured the girl,” reported Senior Assistant of Prosecutor of the Penza region Yuliya Makarova.

She explained that the prosecutor’s investigation revealed gross violation of the girl’s rights under federal law “On social protection of disabled persons in the Russian Federation”. The prosecutor of Issinskiy district sent a statement of claim to Leninskiy district court of Penza obliging the state institution “Penza Regional Office of Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation” to provide the disabled child with technical means of rehabilitation.

“The claim of the prosecutor was considered, but the proceedings were terminated due to the voluntary satisfaction of the claim by the respondent,” summed up the agency interlocutor.
