Penza, 25 June 2012. PenzaNews. More than 5,3 thousand students are to be admitted to the establishments of secondary and primary vocational education in the Penza region in 2012 for training at the government expense.

“3,2 thousand places are allocated for secondary vocational education program, primary vocational education program has 2,1 thousand places,” informed the press service of the Ministry of Education of the region.

In 2012, the amount and structure of the admission quotas were adjusted to the data system of forecasting and monitoring of current and future needs of the labor market in personnel with different qualification skills.

“Admission is significantly reduced in the group of “Humanities” (from 219 to 110 people), “Economics and Management” (from 492 to 185 people), “Architecture and Construction” (from 322 to 262 people). This is due to a decrease in industrial demand for specialists with secondary vocational education,” noted in the Ministry.

At the same time, they increased admission in the group of “Agriculture and Fish industry” from 395 to 475 people.

Applications will be accepted up to July 31 inclusively.
