According to the press service of Penza diocese, the temple under construction will become a cathedral church in the district center.
“The construction of the temple started in the spring of 2011. To date, the ground floor of the church is built, where a library, Sunday school and a cinema will be placed in future. The construction became possible thanks to churchwardens Alexander Zuev and Nadezhda Zueva. Together with them, the rite for construction was attended by the head of local administration Vyacheslav Demichev and the head of the district Mikhail Nazarov,” informed the press service.
After the ceremony, the lord Veniamin noted that people should visit the temple from birth until the end of their mortal life.
“It is very important to have churches in each village, so we were able to live a Christian lifestyle, receiving support and strengthening from the Lord,” he said.
