Fines for some driving regulations violations to increase July 1 in Penza region

Penza, 26 June 2012. PenzaNews. Size of fines imposed for some traffic violations in the Penza region will increase from 1 July 2012. This was announced by Alexander Isaikin, the head of the Department of traffic police and execution of administrative law of the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia during a press conference on Tuesday, June 26.

“Cars, which front windows are tinted with tinting film that does not comply with the requirements of technical regulations on safety of wheeled vehicles, are banned and can not be driven. That means that the inspector will immediately remove a license plate from it,” he explained.
According to Alexander Isaikin, penalties for not meeting the requirements prescribed by traffic signs or road markings prohibiting stopping or parking of vehicles, as well as driving along the lane designed for buses and trolley buses will increase from 300 thousand to 1.5 thousand rubles.
“Fines for stopping or parking 5 meters before or on pedestrian crossings, or at the busstops (except for involuntary stop) will be 1 thousand rubles from July 1,” he added.
Alexander Isaikin stressed that the first 24 hours at auto impound will remain free, but apart from the fine, drivers-violators will be forced to pay for towing.
