Penza, 26 June 2012. PenzaNews. The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held in the central recreation park of V.G. Belinsky in Penza on Tuesday, June 26.
Pupils and students could take part in competitions on streetball and arm wrestling, as well as figure bike riding in the square near the planetarium.
Young visitors of the park competed in the best pavement drawing on healthy lifestyle.
The most spectacular event of the day was the show of capturing “dangerous criminals” in their car, carried out by the Federal Drug Control Service of the Penza region.
The closing part of the celebrations was the award ceremony of the representatives of youth movements, who made the most significant contribution into the fight against drug addiction. Among them were the winners of regional competitions for the prevention of drug abuse, activists and volunteers of social organizations.
