Penza, 2 July 2012. PenzaNews. The free space in the buildings of secondary schools in the Penza region should not be empty. This was stated by the governor Vasily Bochkarev during the operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, July 2.
“Over the past few years in the Penza region a number of small schools have been reduced, some of them have been combined. Vacant space in these buildings can be used for the camps of labor, recreation and sports, which will always be attended by kids,” pointed out the governor.
According to Vasily Bochkarev, school-based branches of colleges or vocational schools should be organized in order that young people with secondary education did not have to travel from village to Penza searching for work.
“Schooling in these “on-the-spot colleges” should be differentiated, so that young people could receive professional skills, which would be useful particularly in their village,” summed up the Head of the region.
