Penza, 5 July 2012. PenzaNews. Television and partially radio broadcasting will be disabled in Penza because of the installation of a new digital antenna on the Penza Regional Broadcasting Center.

As Anatoly Kitaev, Director of Operation and Maintenance of Television and Radio Broadcasting Network, affiliate “Penza ORTPTS,” told news agency “PenzaNews,” the work of almost all broadcast television and radio facilities will be suspended during the period from July 9 to 13 as well as on July 16 and 17.

“We will take an analog antenna to free space in order to start the installation of a new antenna for digital broadcasting this year. During the works, several channels will broadcast in a small format to keep the city informed,” Anatoly Kitaev said.

He added that the cable signal will go without a break during the transfer of the antenna.
