Muslim camp for children opened in Kobylkino

Kamenka, 12 July 2012. PenzaNews. Children’s Muslim camp, which has 25 kids, began work in the village of Kobylkino in Kamenskiy district, the Penza region.

The camp was organized by the congregation of the mosque headed by Imam Khatib Ruslan Tinchurin.

“Given the extensive experience working with children, Rinat Akhtyamov, Imam from Kamenka, and a student of the Russian Islamic University Muhammad Nematov were invited to work at the camp,” said the clerical leader of the village.

Rinat Akhtyamov stated that this educational children’s camp aims to cultivate love for people, cultural traditions and religion.

At the camp children will be taught the basics of Islam, learn the Arabic language and the Koran.
