Penza, 16 July 2012. PenzaNews. Training courses for women willing to operate combines and tractors will be opened in the Penza region in the nearest future. This instruction came from the head of the region Vasily Bochkarev addressed to the Head of the Department of Labor, Employment and Labor Migration Elena Kosnikova during a government operational meeting on Monday, July 16.

“If men, who live in villages and rural areas, prefer doing nothing, but lie on the couch watching TV and drinking alcohol, then we should let ladies make the money,” pointed out the governor.

According to Vasily Bochkarev, new modern combines, which women would use, are equipped with air conditioning, and also do not require much effort in management.

“The hard work — maintenance and repair of equipment — would be delegated to special brigades consisting entirely of men,” noted the governor.

Vasily Bochkarev added that this kind of work for women will be seasonal — from May to September — but it will be well-paid.
