Penza, 17 July 2012. PenzaNews. The introduction of automatic accounting of water consumption will reduce the loss of 1.25 million cubic meters of water per year. This was stated by Michael Tolubanov, public relations officer of LLC Gorvodokanal, in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”

He explained that this system allows to quickly find the location of water leaks using a special computer program, and reports of unauthorized diversion of water.

“There are 177 automatic accounting devices installed at the city central heating stations and LLC Gorvodokanal facilities. These devices are connected to an automated system for collecting and storing the data on cold water flow. This reduces the electrical energy expenses due to underspent water which should not be lifted, cleaned and transported,” Michael Tolubanov said.
