Penza, 18 July 2012. PenzaNews. For the past 6 months of 2012 in the Penza region detection percentage of rape case was 100%, of murder cases — 95,2%. These data were presented during the session of the regional office of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Wednesday, July 18.

“From January to July, investigating authorities have initiated 837 criminal cases of various categories, criminal charges were brought against 767 persons,” reported Acting Senior Assistant of the Head Investigative Department of Investigative Committee of the Penza region in media relations Mariya Orlova.

She added that out of the total number of criminal cases opened in the first half year 36 were murders cases, 31 were initiated on the facts of causing serious injuries resulted in death, and 16 rape cases.

“185 criminal cases were initiated on corruption-related crimes, 41 of which were sent to the court,” clarified the agency interlocutor.
