Penza, 18 July 2012. PenzaNews. The chairman of the Fund for the spiritual heritage of the Tatar “Shine,” the member of the city council Zhigansha Tuktarov proposed to introduce a new way for fund raising for the construction of Penza mosque with the help of mobile phones.

According to the charity fund, as of July 18 they collected over 13,5 million rubles out of 150 million rubles required for the construction.

“Of all the donations collected in this year the largest one was made by the 72-year-old retiree from Penza Ravil Sayfetdinov. In May, he supplemented “Shine” fund with 156 thousand rubles, and soon plans to donate again, as well as ask for help from a friend-businessman from Dagestan,” noted in the fund.

In addition, construction works are partially carried out by the parishioners of the existing mosques in Penza.

As news agency PenzaNews previously reported, the main dome of the mosque will be installed in autumn 2012.
